Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Skates Past Prior Lake Christian with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty Christian). They really took it to the Prior Lake Christian Royals for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-41 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Despite the loss, Prior Lake Christian still got an impressive performance from Elijah Wilson, who went 9 for 18 on his way to 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Wilson's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Micah Lindsey, who posted eight points and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Liberty Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Prior Lake Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Liberty Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prior Lake Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Woodcrest Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prior Lake Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.2 points per game this season.
