Baseball Game Preview: Coweta Tigers vs. Midwest City Bombers

For the second straight game, Coweta will face off against Midwest City. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Bombers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coweta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

On Monday, it was close, but Coweta sidestepped Midwest City for a 5-4 win.

Coweta got a great performance from Mason Iott as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Iott also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Tigers are undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-10 otherwise.

At the plate, Alex Crawford was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Midwest City is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12. As for Coweta, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Coweta has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Midwest City struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
