Football Recap: Bonners Ferry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against St. Maries last Friday, Bonners Ferry came back down to earth. The Badgers fell just short of the Northwest Christian School Crusaders by a score of 42-39 on Friday. While the Badgers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Crusaders 18-7.

Even if they lost, Bonners Ferry's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Daric Vincent, Austin McLaughlin, and Taylor Dodd, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Bonners Ferry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northwest Christian School, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Bonners Ferry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-21 victory against Lakeside on the 19th. As for Northwest Christian School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-0 loss against Freeman on the 20th.
