Soccer Game Preview: Southridge vs. Mountainside

Southridge is 0-5 against Mountainside since October of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Skyhawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Southridge turned things around against Aloha on Thursday. Neither they nor the Warriors could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Southridge have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Meanwhile, Mountainside has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 15. They played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Sunset.

Southridge's draw gives them a new season record of 2-7-2. Meanwhile, Mountainside's record is now 4-5-3.
