Basketball Game Preview: Manchester Memorial Crusaders vs. Goffstown Grizzlies

The Manchester Memorial Crusaders will challenge the Goffstown Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Manchester Memorial had to suffer through a 61-21 loss at the hands of Windham. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Jaguars are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Goffstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Londonderry 78-31.

Manchester Memorial dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Goffstown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Manchester Memorial couldn't quite finish off Goffstown in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 and fell 31-28. Can Manchester Memorial avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
