Softball Recap: Bluefield Beavers vs. Wyoming East Warriors
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bluefield had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wyoming East Warriors with a sharp 15-2 win. Taylor Mabry was a standout: she scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Richardson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
The victory (which was Bluefield's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5. As for Wyoming East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
