Basketball Game Preview: Clover Garden School Grizzlies vs. Bethany Community Wolves

The Clover Garden School Grizzlies and the Bethany Community Wolves will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Clover Garden School is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Chatham Charter on Tuesday. Clover Garden School fell 50-39 to Chatham Charter. The Grizzlies were down 41-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Bethany Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat. They were outmatched by Bishop McGuinness and fell 80-30. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Villains are ranked 60th).

Clover Garden School has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Bethany Community, their loss dropped their record down to 3-24.
