Soccer Recap: Mather Takes a Loss

Mather came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Juarez Eagles, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Mather were already down 4-1.

Mather's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Juarez, the win got them back to even at 4-4-5.

Coming up, Mather will square off against Roosevelt at 4:30 a.m. on the 9th. As for Juarez, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against Schurz on the 1st.
