Soccer Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial and Sharyland had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines lost 4-0 to the Sharyland Rattlers on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wolverines haven't been shut out since back in February.

The loss snapped Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6-1 record. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Sharyland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-2 record this season.
