Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Falls to Redeemer Classical in First Game of Season

Cornerstone Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Redeemer Classical Griffins on Monday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

While Cornerstone Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Redeemer Classical work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 18-25, 26-24.

Cornerstone Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Ridgeview Christian on the 22nd. As for Redeemer Classical, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Appalachian Christian School on the 22nd.
