Baseball Recap: Timpanogos Gets the Win

Timpanogos's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Viewmont Vikings. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Timpanogos let Carter Hall and Jackson Sotelo run wild. Hall scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Sotelo scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Sotelo a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Isacc Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Timpanogos' record now sits at 6-3. As for Viewmont, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Timpanogos will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Payson at 3:30 p.m. As for Viewmont, they will head out on the road to face off against Davis at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
