It was a proper cat-fight when Whitehouse took on Tyler on Friday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29th (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-12.

Whitehouse is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Tyler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Whitehouse is set to challenge their familiar foe Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tyler will take on rival Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
