Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterford). They came out on top against the Wellston Golden Rockets by a score of 65-53 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

With the victory, Waterford broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for Wellston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Waterford has already played their next matchup, a 54-48 win against Morgan on the 21st. Wellston and Southeastern will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
