It was a good run, but Follett unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dalhart Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 666th, while the Wolves are ranked 288th).

Follett's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Dalhart, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Follett has already played their next game, a 61-30 defeat against Pampa on the 27th. As for Dalhart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-34 win against Stratford on the 27th.
