Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Middletown

Middletown waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the East Pennsboro Panthers as they made off with a 64-44 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Middletown pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for East Pennsboro, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middletown and Bishop McDevitt will compete for holiday cheer at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Pennsboro, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northern York at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
