Basketball Recap: Meigs Takes a Loss

Meigs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-19 loss at the hands of the Athens Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 747th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 78th).

Meigs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Athens, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Meigs will host Wellston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Athens, they will head out to challenge Alexander at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
