If Union wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Monroe Central, they should've done a better job of containing Easton Foster. The Monroe Central Golden Bears blew past the Union Rockets 63-21 on Thursday thanks to Foster, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. The contest was his ninth in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Erwin, who posted five points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

Several Rockets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lamar Schwartz, who scored four points and six rebounds. Conner `Cross also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Monroe Central's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Monroe Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-31 victory against South Adams on the 11th. As for Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 83-35 loss against Wapahani on the 8th.
