Volleyball Recap: Ridge Community Comes Up Short

Ridge Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Academy of Central Florida National Golden Bulls.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Ridge Community lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 26-24.

Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Academy of Central Florida National, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Ridge Community has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Celebration on the 1st. As for Academy of Central Florida National, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Davenport on the 1st.
