Basketball Recap: Kent School Takes a Loss

Kent School was the 63-61 winner over Frederick Gunn when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Kent School Lions fell 70-59 to the Frederick Gunn Highlanders on Monday.

Frederick Gunn's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justin Robinson, who went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jah Reaves, who posted 12 points.

Kent School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frederick Gunn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Kent School will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Luke's at 2:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for Frederick Gunn, they will face off against Trinity-Pawling School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
