Basketball Recap: SkyView Academy Takes a Loss

SkyView Academy lost against Forge Christian back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks had to suffer through an 81-45 loss at the hands of the Fury.

Leading Forge Christian to victory were Levi Clark and Sebastian Still. Clark shot 86% from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and six rebounds, while Still went 8-for-10 to rack up 18 points. The game was Clark's seventh in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Erique Diggins, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 10 points and three steals.

SkyView Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Forge Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

SkyView Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Front Range Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026. This will be the Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Forge Christian, they and Colorado Springs Christian will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
