Softball Recap: Segerstrom Takes a Loss

Segerstrom lost against Fullerton back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Jaguars fell 8-3 to the Indians. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Segerstrom saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Fraser, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Segerstrom's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Fullerton, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Segerstrom will square off against Garden Grove at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Argonauts have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Fullerton, they will challenge Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
