Baseball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Newark Catholic

Newark Catholic won against Willard on Saturday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Green Wave walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates. The Green Wave haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Newark Catholic pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-7.
