Normal Community won the last time they faced Urbana and things went their way on Friday too. The Ironmen claimed a resounding 55-7 victory over the Tigers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Ironmen's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Tigers are ranked 481st).

The win (which was Normal Community's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points on average this season. As for Urbana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Normal Community will square off against Kankakee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Urbana, they will host Champaign Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
