Football Recap: Plainfield East Takes a Loss

Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 36-6 defeat at the hands of the Oswego Panthers.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Oswego, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plainfield East will challenge rival Plainfield South at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oswego is set to take on their familiar foe Rosary at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 8.5, the Royals 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
