Softball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale fell victim to DuBois Central Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for DuBois Central Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendale will face off against Curwensville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they will square off against Brockway at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
