Volleyball Recap: Proviso East's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Proviso East had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-9 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Prosser Falcons by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

As for Prosser, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Prosser lost, don't look at Micah Kholodenko. Despite the final result, he had ten digs and three assists.

Proviso East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Chicago Christian on the 3rd. As for Prosser, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Oak Forest on the 3rd.
