Soccer Game Preview: Buhler vs. South + How To Watch

The Buhler Crusaders will square off against the South Cougars on Thursday. Buhler will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Buhler's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against El Dorado as they made off with an 8-0 victory. Buhler might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Newton on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given South's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Newton are ranked fifth).

South has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those nine contests. As for Buhler, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
