Bishop Fenwick won the last time they met up with Archbishop McNicholas, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Bishop Fenwick were the clear victor by a 57-26 margin over Archbishop McNicholas. Not happy with the 21-20 score at halftime, Bishop Fenwick made a real splash in the second half.
Bishop Fenwick got off to a slow start in their game last week, but they had no such trouble against Archbishop McNicholas and cruised to a 21-point first half. Archbishop McNicholas countered with 20 points, leaving the score at 21-20 going into the half. Bishop Fenwick put the contest away in the third quarter with 22 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 4-2. The loss dropped Archbishop McNicholas' record to 1-5.
Bishop Fenwick will look to defend their home turf next week against Chaminade-Julienne at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Bishop Fenwick and Chaminade-Julienne will really light up the scoreboard. Archbishop McNicholas will take on Roger Bacon at home at 7:00 PM. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
