Volleyball Recap: Houston County Takes a Loss

Houston County lost against Riverwood back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Houston County sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 19-25, 18-16.

Houston County dropped their record down to 4-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Riverwood, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Houston County will square off against South Paulding at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Riverwood, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Providence Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. The Storm will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
