Softball Recap: Baraboo Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Baraboo's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Stoughton Vikings on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Thunderbirds' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Baraboo's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Stoughton, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baraboo will venture away from home to face off against Reedsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stoughton, they will head out to square off against Mount Horeb at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Horeb will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Stoughton surely won't give up without a fight.
