McDonald has gone 10-0 against McKinley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The McDonald Blue Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the McKinley Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Thursday, McDonald came up short against Springfield and fell 42-35. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

McDonald's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Gracie Callow, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 16 points and six rebounds, and Juliana Krumpak, who posted nine points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Cierra Shiley, who scored six points and six boards.

Meanwhile, McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Mineral Ridge and fell 48-15. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 749th, while the Rams are ranked 206th).

McDonald's record is now 10-7. As for McKinley, their record now sits at 3-10.

McDonald took their win against McKinley when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 43-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for McDonald since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
