They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Fergus Falls Otters on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for Perham, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Blaiz Schmidt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
