Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Takes a Loss

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Annawan Braves/Bravettes. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves/Bravettes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s offense was headlined by Anna Doubet and Hadaly Curry, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Haylee Bennett and her six assists.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s loss dropped their record down to 2-28. As for Annawan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-19-1.

As of now, neither Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] nor the Braves/Bravettes have any future games scheduled.
