Thurston had won three straight home games dating back to last season and Justin Fisher did his part to make it four on Friday. The Colts came out on top against the Roseburg Indians by a score of 26-14 for which the team can thank Fisher, who rushed for 112 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 43 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 112 rushing yards.

Thurston's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Roseburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Thurston will head out on the road to take on Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will be up against the Millers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Roseburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Eugene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
