Volleyball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Comes Up Short

Georgetown-Ridge Farm was the 2-0 winner over Armstrong when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Buffaloes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Monday. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Milee Ellis paced Georgetown-Ridge Farm's offense, picking up nine kills. Ellis got some help from Rubyrae Fraser-Soule and her 20 assists. Hadlee Hayes controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Armstrong, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Georgetown-Ridge Farm is set to take on their familiar foe Hoopeston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Armstrong will square off against rival Westville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
