Baseball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Takes a Loss

If Lighthouse Christian was feeling good fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Varsity Opponent last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lighthouse Christian fell just short of the Bolivar Liberators by a score of 13-11 on Wednesday.

Braden Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Wagner, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lighthouse Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Bolivar, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian will challenge Seymour at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bolivar, they will square off against Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
