After a string of three wins, Los Amigos's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against the San Juan Hills Stallions, falling 100-67. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 450th, while the Stallions are ranked 95th).

San Juan Hills was led to victory by Adam Aziz and Mason Hodges. Aziz almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine assists, while Hodges almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. The game was Hodges' 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocco Jensen, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points.

Los Amigos' loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for San Juan Hills, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

Los Amigos will head out on the road to take on Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Amigos is facing Santa Fe at the right time seeing as Santa Fe is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for San Juan Hills, they will welcome Trabuco Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
