Softball Recap: Bishop Ready Takes a Loss

Bishop Ready was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Berne Union Rockets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Silver Knights have suffered since May 8, 2024.

Bishop Ready's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Berne Union, their record now sits at 13-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will welcome Marion-Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berne Union, they will take on Delaware Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.7 runs per game this season.
