Adding to the longest winning streak in Corn Belt this week, University beat Jacksonville 35-27. The win marks 11th in a row for the the Pioneers.
Mahomet-Seymour fell to Alleman 35-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
University's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Arion Worthman threw for 175 and 3 touchdowns and Austin Welter had 84 yards receiving. On the ground Worthman chipped in 203 yards. Malik Wildermuth helped University's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 40 yards.
Dusty Burk's team's dynamic duo of Worthman and Welter proved tough for the Crimsons to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wildermuth helped University's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 40 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Bulldogs' Joe Kenney and Cully Day have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Kenney has thrown for 2,008 yards this season, while Day has 37 catches for 793 yards. Nick Wotton from Pontiac leads the league in rushing with 1,422 yards.
Going into this week's game against Washington, the Pioneers' Worthman needs 79 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season. So far this year, Worthman has thrown for 1,921 yards with 31 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
University made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,018 from 1,311. The improvement was largely due to a 35-27 victory over Jacksonville last week.
