Volleyball Recap: Summit Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Summit can now relate to. They came up short against the Belleville Buccaneers on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Mackenna Welsh paced Summit's offense, picking up 12 kills. Welsh got some help from Nadia Moghal and her 23 assists. Moghal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Belleville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-8-1.

As of now, neither Summit nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
