Volleyball Recap: Susquehannock Warriors vs. Eastern York Golden Knights
Susquehannock waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Eastern York Golden Knights as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-12.
Lily Morton went supernova for Susquehannock, getting 15 digs and five aces. Morton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Machenzie Turk, who had three digs and two aces.
Susquehannock pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eastern York, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Susquehannock will challenge Red Lion at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern York, they will square off against York Suburban at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
