Baseball Recap: Marion Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Marion won against Randolph on Monday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Cole Cougars by a score of 8-4. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Marion's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Cole, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marion will take on rival Poteet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cole is set to face off against their familiar foe Great Hearts Northern Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
