Libertyville's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Grayslake Central. Shea Krakowski was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Carmel was a bit more limited in their game last Wednesday. They fell just short of Lake Forest by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Carmel in their meetings with Lake Forest: they've now lost three in a row.

Libertyville's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.
