Soccer Recap: Calhoun Wins Going Away Against Wharton

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bay City, Calhoun was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wharton Tigers as the Calhoun Sandcrabs made off with a 3-0 victory. The game marked the Sandcrabs' most dominant win of the season.

Daisy Guerrero and Claire Flores scored all three of Calhoun's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Calhoun is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Wharton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Calhoun is taking a road trip to face off against Palacios at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wharton, they will challenge Rice Consolidated at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
