It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Freeland had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Lake Fenton Blue Devils 51-21. Considering the Falcons have won nine matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brayden Petre was a one-man wrecking crew for Freeland as he rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown. Freeland also got a significant boost from Owen Case, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 106 yards.

Freeland didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zander Wheatley and Nic Haas.

The victory made it two in a row for Freeland and bumps their season record up to 9-1. As for Lake Fenton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-4.

Freeland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 27-21 loss against Goodrich on the 8th. Lake Fenton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
