Baseball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland fell victim to Drummond and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Drummond Bulldogs by a score of 1-0.

Woodland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Bennett, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Drummond, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodland will face off against Tonkawa at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Drummond, they will challenge Fargo/Gage at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
