Prairie View proved they can win big last Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Brighton Bulldogs 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Prairie View in their matchups with Brighton: they've now won three in a row.

Addee Gonzales and Masyn Wilson scored both of Prairie View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

The win got Prairie View back to even at 6-6. As for Brighton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Prairie View is set to face off against their familiar foe Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brighton will take on rival Riverdale Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
