Basketball Recap: Clarksville Comes Up Short

Clarksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies and fell 66-23. The Indians lost against the Huskies in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 71-55 score last time.

Clarksville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nashua-Plainfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksville will venture away from home to take on Riceville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nashua-Plainfield, they will head out to challenge Newman Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
