Soccer Game Preview: Globe vs. Coolidge

Globe is 0-10 against Coolidge since December of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will host the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Globe's offense. They lost 8-0 to ALA - Ironwood on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Coolidge also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Yuma Catholic on Wednesday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Coolidge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 184th, while Yuma Catholic are ranked 19th).

Coolidge's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Globe, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Globe might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Coolidge when the teams last played back in January of 2025. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 4-1.
