Soccer Recap: Homestead Plays to a Tie

Homestead pushed their score to one the last time they played Edison, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. Neither the Homestead Broncos nor the Edison Red Raiders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Broncos have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Gracey Fignole, which was the first she's scored this season.

With that draw, Homestead's record moves to 6-3-3. Meanwhile, Edison's record is now 5-2-1.

Homestead will head out on the road to face off against JC Bermudez Doral at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Homestead's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Edison, they will host Miami Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
